The Venusian World of Eric Ehlenberger includes several locations: Venusian Gardens (VG) Art Gallery and Glasslight Sculpture Studio, located in the historic Faubourg Marigny; V2nola, a Creole Cottage just 3 blocks from VG; and the Venusia,a luxury villa located nearby on the beautiful Bayou St John. These rental properties can be coordinated to offer unique and distinctive destination weddings and other events.

The Venusia

Venusia is a luxury residence on Bayou St. John in New Orleans. Available for long term rental, Venusia is also an ideal venue for weddings and private functions such as wrap parties, political fundraisers and other private celebrations. This unusual venue is particularly remarkable for its comforting yet stimulating ambiance provided by imaginative luminous sculpture and distinctive contemporary lighting. Distributed throughout the residence, luminous artwork along with modern and elegant lighting provide warm and colorful hues that highlight their environments. V2nola

V2nola, a creole cottage just three blocks from VG that was originally built in 1842 and now available for rent. Artfully furnished, this property includes a backyard with lawn, covered deck and hot tub. The Faubourg Marigny is home to the best clubs for live New Orleans jazz and R&B music as well as phenomenal restaurants and some of the most interesting art venues the city has to offer. Venusian Gardens Art Gallery

The Venusian Gardens Art Gallery (VG) specializes in contemporary luminous artwork but modern lighting and furniture pieces are also exhibited. VG is also available as a stunning three story event rental venue originally constructed as a church in1852. By blending contemporary art with its historic architectural setting, VG provides a unique and stimulating ambiance for weddings, exotic and memorable parties, celebration of special events as well as music and art performances,

In production since 1985, glassLight studio currently resides at Venusian Gardens since 2001. The focus of work produced at glassLight has always been on neon, mostly combined with blown, slumped and fused glass as well as aluminum and other media. A fully functional neon production studio, neon tubing is blown and processed on site expanding on the traditional formats and techniques associated with the sign industry to open up new and unique expressions of the unique media that is neon. Tours and neon demonstrations are available.
