The Neighborhood

V2nola is located in the heart of the Faubourg Marigny, home to the best clubs for live New Orleans jazz and R&B music. The neighborhood restaurants offer some of the most phenomenal food the city has to offer. The Faubourg Marigny and adjacent Bywater community are home to an abundance of artists, lending a bohemian, creative character to the neighborhood.

Other Venusian World Venues

V2nola is one of three rental venues that feature neon, metal and blown glass artwork and residential lighting by the artist Eric Ehlenberger. The two other rental properties are the Venusia, a palatial luxury villa on the nearby Bayous St. John and the Venusian Gardens Art Gallery (VG), just 3 blocks from V2nola in the Marigny. Ehlenberger is best known for his Venusian World sculptures, inter-related series of artworks representing the artist’s rendition of the luminous fauna and flora of his fantasy world of Venusia. Most notable of these luminous sculptures are the blown glass and neon “Venusian Jellyfish” that have been exhibited in galleries and shows throughout the world and are prominently displayed in these venues.

As part of the Venusian World, it allows for coordination of events including weddings and celebrations with the Venusian Gardens Art Gallery (VG) and the Venusia.
